What is Portal’s referral program?
Portal’s referral program encourages all Portal enthusiasts to invite their colleagues and friends to work with Portal’s universal delivery system for their cell engineering needs. It is a quick and easy way for a participating individual to earn cash (in the form of a Visa EGift card) for making a successful referral. A referral is considered successful when it results in the purchase of a Starter Pack (Gateway System and accompanying monthly subscription) by a new customer.
How does the referral program work?
Portal enthusiasts are encouraged to submit a referral form via our website (portal.bio) or email info@portal.bio whenever they would like to refer a colleague or friend. The following details must be included to be considered a full referral: referral’s name, title, work/school affiliation, and email address. For every Portal Starter Pack purchased by a referral, the referring customer will receive a $500 Visa EGift card.
How and when will I receive my individual reward(s)?
Referral rewards are paid out once per quarter (fiscal year began on January 1st), 30 days after the quarter-end. This means that the end of the month following the nearest end of quarter date is when you should expect your Visa EGift card.
You will be notified via email once your referral makes a qualifying and successful purchase. Our Accounts Payable team will make the reward ( $500 Visa EGift card) payable to you (the referring individual) according to the quarterly payment structure as noted above.)
Does this referral program and/or reward(s) have an expiration date?
Portal’s referral program will commence on February 2, 2024 and will end on September 30, 2024. A qualifying referral must be submitted and received by the Portal team during these dates. Referrals submitted earlier or after these dates do not qualify for a reward.
As for the reward itself ($500 Visa EGift card), the expiration date will be noted on the electronic gift card itself. Please note that electronic gift cards typically have a 3 to 5 year expiration date.
Terms and Conditions:
1. Eligibility: Portal’s Referral Program (the "Promotion") is open to legal residents who are 18 years or older at the time of entry.
2. Promotion Period: The Promotion begins on 02/01/24 and ends on 09/30/24.
3. Reward:
3.1 The reward is a cash amount of $500 (in the form of a Visa EGift card).
3.2 The reward is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for other forms of currency or products.
3.3 The reward is redeemable only for goods and services not exceeding the remaining credit balance on the EGift card.
4. General Conditions:
4.1 Portal reserves the right to cancel or modify the Promotion at any time.
4.2 Portal is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries.
4.3 Participants agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
5. Privacy: Information collected for the Promotion will be used in accordance with the Company's privacy policy.
6. Release and Limitations of Liability: Participants release Portal and its affiliates from any liability arising out of participation in the Promotion or acceptance of the cash prize.
7. Governing Law: The Promotion is governed by the laws of Massachusetts, USA.
8. Payment of Taxes: Recipients are responsible for any taxes on the cash prize and should consult with a tax professional for advice.
